You should use Online User Registration at the initial stage during your association with UCL:

When you apply for a programme at UCL: Use OUR to register your personal email address and set a password for it. These credentials allow you to access a small number of online services at UCL prior to receiving an unconditional firm offer.

When you are offered a place at UCL and you accept it: You can no longer use your personal email address to access online services at UCL. You will be notified by UCL on how you can access the full range of UCL services at that stage.

You can use your personal email address and password to access Portico and Accommodation portal through which you can apply for accommodation in one of the halls of residences.

Your username is your personal email address.

Your Student Number is quoted on all communications that UCL sends you.

NOTE: You cannot use your UCAS ID to register with OUR.

The password must be exactly 8 characters long. It must also contain at least 3 of the following (where at least 2 of these should contain a minimum of 2 characters of that type):

• Lowercase characters
• Uppercase characters
• Number
• Special characters from this set % ^ * ( ) + - = ; , ? / & [ ] { }

Additionally, make sure that the password that you choose:

• Does not contain your firstname or surname
• Does not contain a sequence of letters found on a keyboard (ie. "qwer", "asdf")
• Does not contain a dictionary word or a proper name
• Does not contain a character that repeats itself more than 2 times
• Contains at least 5 different characters

To reset the password for your personal email address, you can use the 'My Credentials' section in the Online User Registration application.

Ensure that you are using the correct Student Number. It is quoted in all communications sent by UCL. If your date of birth needs to be corrected, please contact the Admissions team by visiting the link bellow

Email the ISD Service Desk (itservices@ucl.ac.uk) quoting your Student Number, date of birth, previously registered email address and new email address.
